The National Weather Service said at 1:15 p.m. that the county remains under a winter storm warning until 6 p.m.
Periods of light to moderate snow will continue through mid-afternoon south and east of a Vichy in Maries County to Willow Springs in Howell County line.
Additional accumulations up to 2 inches are expected, which puts total storm accumulations at 6 to 9 inches across south-central Missouri. Locally higher amounts up to a foot remain possible. The snow will begin to diminish by mid-afternoon and end by late this afternoon.
