Logan Dale

First National Bank’s board of directors has named Logan Dale of Houston as president and CEO of First National Bank, which includes locations in six communities in southern Missouri.

Dale most recently served as president, personal banking, following the retirement of longtime bank president Roger Hunt.

In his new role, Dale will have overall responsibility for the bank’s day-to-day operations, and he will continue to serve on the bank’s board of directors. Since joining First National in 1994, Dale has served as president of the bank in Licking and, more recently, in Houston.

“Logan has a passion for community banking, and we are confident he will maintain and build on the tradition of success of this 103 year-old bank,” said Charles Cantrell, chairman of the board of directors of First National Bank.

Dale graduated from Missouri State University in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He also completed the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colo.

Logan and his wife, Shanna, reside in Houston with their three children, Mariah, Emma and Carson. She is employed as a guidance counselor for the Licking School District.

First National Bank has assets totaling $280 million. Established in 1904, the bank has eight locations in Mountain View, Houston, West Plains, Willow Springs, Licking and Cabool.

First National Bank’s majority owner, The Landrum Co., and local investors own banks with locations in south-central Missouri, north-central Missouri, southern Oklahoma and north-central Texas with assets totaling $1.2 billion. Spanning 100 years, four generations of the Landrum family have been leaders in community banking.
