Houston police handled numerous investigations – including several peace disturbance calls – during the last week that resulted in several citations and arrests.
Officers:
-Charged Justin D. Beasley, 17, of Raymondville, with careless and imprudent driving by failure to maintain control and speeding on Feb. 25 near West Side Park. Beasley struck a vehicle driven by Brandon J. Wildhaber, 17, of 18706 Brushy Creek Road. A passenger, Chad W. Hutsell, 18, sustained injuries.
-Cited Billy Jack Hayes Jr., 17, with minor in possession and second-degree property damage following a Feb. 20 incident at the Horse Creek Inn. Police said he knocked down a door and was intoxicated. Damage was estimated at $230.
-Are investigating the theft of checks belonging to Rose Bolden, 44, of 319 Chestnut St. The checks have since been cashed. The amount is in excess of $500. Charges are being sought against a 19-year-old woman, police said.
-Were called to TCMH, where Melissa K. Cooper of Houston reported damage to a tire, which had been cut. The incident occurred Feb. 15 – Feb. 18.
-Answered a call at the Progressive Ozark Bank parking lot, where an assault was reported. A domestic dispute investigation is continuing.
-Charged Christine M. White, 41, of Raymondville, with DWI and operating a motor vehicle while license was suspended on Feb. 25.
-Charged Tarc N. Willard, 24, and Christopher S. Willard, 29, both of Cabool, with peace disturbance, following an incident at Dale Family Medicine on Feb. 25.
-Cited Dawn M. Sikes, 30, with peace disturbance following an incident at the Houston Middle School on Feb. 29.
-Arrested Adam Kirkwood, 19, of Cabool, on a warrant charging him with not appearing on a Houston charge. He posted $1,500 bond on Feb. 28.
-Arrested Brandi R. Arnold, 26, of Willow Springs, on a county warrant charging her with criminal non-support. She posted a $5,000 bond on March 1.
-Cited Jimmie D. Conley, 47, of Yukon, with driving while revoked on Feb. 29. Police said he has a 10-year denial to obtain a license.
-Charged Michael J. Hall, 25, of Raymondville, with operating a motor vehicle while operator’s license revoked, failure to produce an insurance identification card, DWI, prior offender; and failure to stop at a posted stop sign on Feb. 29.
According to a police report, Hall was reported to have run several vehicles off the road and tried to strike dogs on Brushy Creek Road.
