Carolyn Sue Bequette, 64, daughter of Edward Douglas and Ruby Hutsell Douglas Murray, was born July 27, 1943, at Houston. She died March 22, 2008, at St. John’s Hospital in St. Louis.
She married Robert E. Bequette Aug. 12, 1972.
She was a member of the First Christian Church at Florissant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father and sister, Kaye Douglas.
Surviving are her mother of Carthage; brother, Eugene Douglas of Carthage; sister, Cathy Campbell of Carthage; four stepchildren, six step-grandchildren – two of which she raised, Jason Bequettte and Jessica Bequette; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were March 25 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Groff officiating. Burial was in the Pine Lawn Cemetery.
