Two vehicles were totaled late Saturday morning on Shafer Road north of Licking, reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Tpr. George Falterman said Benjamin F. Trout, 75, of Licking, was outside of his 1995 Ford pickup adjusting a load of sheet metal when a 2008 Mazda driven by Justin A. McElfresh, 27, of Duke, struck it in the rear.
Trout and McElfresh were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, Falterman said.
