Loretha Bernard Evans Rolloff, 87, the eldest daughter of Bennett and Beulah Kell Evans, was born Feb. 2, 1921, at Dallas Center, Iowa. She died April 23, 2008, at Covington Rest Home in Michigan.
Known as Peg or Lori, she was saved at a young age and baptized in Big Creek near Eunice.
She attended Eunice Elementary and graduated from Summersville High School in 1939.
She married Montel Walters after graduation and moved to St. Louis.
Following a divorce, she married Art Luedke and lived at Racine, Wis., until his death.
She later married Forest Rolloff and lived at Sidnaw, Mich., until his death.
She lived at Sidnaw, Mich, for more than 30 years before going to the Covington Rest Home.
Mrs. Rolloff liked to cook and travel, especially cruises.
She was preceded in death by her significant other, Warren Flinchum; and her sister, Gwendolyn Evans Lewis.
Surviving are one sister, Nadine Kaighin of Manchester and nieces and nephews.
Memorial graveside services are 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at the Big Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at Pizza Express following the services.
