A 18-year-old Cabool woman was injured Saturday night when her vehicle struck a horse north of her hometown and ran off the roadway into a ditch, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Katheryn M. Nakamura-Sandgren sustained moderate injuries in the crash about 2 1/2 miles north of Cabool on Highway M, said Tpr. Terry Nelson.
He said the driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Her 2004 Chevrolet was totaled, Nelson said.
