A 49-year-old Success man faces several charges after he was seriously injured late Friday night in crash at Highways 32 and 17.
Tpr. Terry Nelson of the patrol said Tommy L. Sutton was driving a 2000 Dodge Dakota truck when he failed to stop at a sign, crossed the roadway and struck a tree before the vehicle caught fire.
Sutton was transported in serious condition by Air Evac to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Nelson said he is charged with DWI, failure to stop at a stop sign and careless and imprudent driving.
