Two persons were injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle wreck near Highway B and Split Limb Road north of Raymondville, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Terry Nelson said Donald D. Evans, 62, of Licking, was traveling westbound when he attempted a left turn onto Highway V near a hillcrest and pulled into the path of another vehicle driven by Joseph Z. Stoltzfus, 22, of Licking, as it came over the hillcrest. Evans 2002 Ford Explorer struck Stolzfus’ 1990 Chevrolet C-10 pickup in the rear.
Both drivers were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Evans’ injuries were deemed minor, while Stoltzfus’ were said to be moderate.
Members of the Texas County Rescue Squad and Raymondville Fire Department were called to the wreck.
Nelson said Evans was wearing a seat belt, while Stoltzfus was not.
