Ozark Baptist Church announced late last week that it was opening an outreach ministry in downtown Houston.
“The Connection” is situated at 115 W. Main and opens Monday when a youth Vacation Bible School begins.
The project is an extension of the ministries of Ozark Baptist Church in the heart of the community. Plans for the center include a safe haven for teens, a quiet study area, spiritual guidance for all ages, various Christian activities and an eventual worship center.
The center’s initial hours will be 3 to 5:30 p.m. nightly from June 2-6. The VBS is for students who have completed grades seven through twelve.
