BEVERLY WASSON

Beverly Donaldson Wasson, 72, daughter of John and Helen Donaldson, was born Jan. 29, 1936, at Hammond, Ind. She died June 16, 2008, at her home at Roby.

She met James Wasson in a small church in Sherryville, Ind. They were married July 24, 1954, at Black Oak, Ind., and had three sons.

Mr. Wasson was in the U.S. Army, where he served until April 1972 at Fort Leonard Wood. They moved to Sullivan until May 1996, when they moved to Roby.

Mrs. Wasson enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, working in her yard and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her husband of the home at Roby; three sons, Evangelist James Wasson of Leasburg, Pastor Michael Wasson of Roby and Edward Wasson of Taylorsville, Ky.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services are 2 o’clock Friday at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cliff Wheat officiating. Burial is in the Plato Lynch Cemetery.
