Four Houston teenagers were charged this morning with stealing a large television and satellite system Sunday afternoon from a Bucyrus residence.

Shane Waldorf and Jordan Shaw, both 19, and Donnie Newell and Terry Risher, each 18, face felony burglary and misdemeanor stealing charges from the incident.

Deputies were able to recover all stolen property.

Shaw also faces felony stealing charges for his role in the theft of a canoe Sunday morning from a residence on Mineral Drive. Also charged is Franklin Pearson, 18, of Houston.

According to Lt. Melissa Dunn of the Texas County Sheriff’s Department, one of the men districted a homeowner while the other swiped a canoe valued at $900. It was recovered by deputies in the early morning hours Monday about one mile downstream from the Mineral Springs access.

Also recovered were a canoe and fishing poles that had earlier been reported stolen to the Houston Police Department. All the items were hiding in weeds along the river, said Dunn.
