A Houston man faces several charges from a stop made by local police.
Officers cited Wayne E. Land, 61, of 112 W. Spruce St., Apt. 1, with DWI, failure to drive on the right half of roadway and operating motor vehicle while operator’s license revoked on June 15.
In other matters, police:
-Heard from Nathan Groves, 27, of Plato, who reported that a Motorola Razr was stolen from his vehicle parked at St. Mark’s Catholic Church on June 18.
-Cited Julie R. Sparks, 28, of 8164 Morton Road, Lot 8, with failure to exhibit an insurance car following an accident June 16. Police she pulled from a First National Bank parking spot and struck a vehicle driven by Bruce A. Tanner, 63, of Springfield.
-Charged Warren A. Vandevort, 44, of Elk Creek, with failure to yield the right of way on June 16. Vandevort made a turn in the path of truck operated by Roy L. Boykin, 46, of Cabool. The mishap occurred at U.S. 63 and Highway B.
-Arrested J. Beverly Cornell, 53, of Cabool, on a county warrant charging her with passing bad checks.
-Cited Forrest N. Maxey, 66, of 805 Chestnut St., with first-degree trespassing at the city’s dog pound on Hawthorn Avenue on June 16.
