Raymondville School had its annual community barbecue and spring concert at the end of the school year.

The theme of the concert was Disney. Preschool, kindergarten and first grade sang “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” “P-O-N-G-O” and “Mousercise.”

Second, third and fourth grade sang “Bibbidi, Boobbidi, Boo.” Havyn Derrick performed “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.” Trentity and Annabelle Brown, Megan Bever, Veanna Chambers, Emily Davidson, Mikayla Smith and Trudee Ellsworth sang “Part of Your World,” “Hakuna Matata” with featured soloist Peyton Light.

Trudee Ellsworth sang “Cruella Deville,” and “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.” Fifth and Sixth grade sang “Hot Dog.” Chelsea Hinton played a piano solo. Seventh and eighth grade girls group performed “Let’s Dance.” Fifth through eighth grade girls entertained with “Real Gone.” Brandon Dewitt and Erika Kugler sang “A Whole New Whole.” Fifth through eighth grade sang “Bad Day” and “Route 66.”

The concert was directed by Mrs. Heather Wuertley. This will be her last concert at Raymondville due to her new position next year at Summersville teaching fifth grade.
