Blackburn finishes third at Lanning Tournament

Houston’s Dustin Blackburn finished third last week at the 40th annual Ken Lanning Jr. Golf Tournament at Rolla.

Blackburn, a senior-to-be, shot a 4-over-par 74. He finished two strokes behind Chris Martin and Taylor Vanzand, who tied for first-place honors in the 16-18 year-old division with 72s.

The tournament was scheduled to be two rounds. But inclement weather forced all divisions except 11-and-under to play just one round.

Ninty-five golfers participated in the tournament. Proceeds went to the Ken Lanning Scholarship.
