Dorotha Ann Tuggle, 94, daughter of Earl Burt and Eleanor Squier Burt, was born Aug. 1, 1913, at Pontiac, Mich. She died July 28, 2008, at Mountain View Health Care at Mountain View.
She married John W. Tuggle. They had two children and were married 52 years before his death.
Mrs. Tuggle loved gardening and playing shuffle board. She had been a resident at Mountain View Health Care for five years.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Evelyn Campbell; and brother, Bob Burt.
Surviving are her son, Ron Tuggle of Summersville; daughter, Roxann Cox of Homer, Mich.; one sister, Joann Smith of Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service is planned by the family at a later date.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home of Summersville.
