A record number of entries were reported at Saturday’s 25th annual Route 63 Car Show at Licking.
Organizers said 135 participated in the event, which was at Licking’s city park.
Several awards were given:
*Ed Preissle was recognized as the only charter member still active in the club.
*Burma Barton of Raymondville won the motorcycle best of show trophy.
*Licking Mayor Linda Miller presented the mayor’s trophy to Jack Brumley of Tuscumbia.
*Police Chief Scott Lindsey presented the police chief’s trophy to Gary Norris of Winona.
*Two best of show trophies went to Eddie Dugger of Hartville for his 1957 Chevrolet and Harold Meyer of St. Clair for his 1941 Willys.
