A 16-year-old Houston boy was turned over to juvenile authorities July 9 after leading officers on a foot pursuit after an incident at a Skyview Terrace apartment, police said.
Authorities said the boy sparked an argument at 306 Skyview Terrace. He is charged with peace disturbance and property damage. His father said the boy broke out a window and had attempted to strike him.
A breathalyzer test showed the boy to be twice over the legal limit for alcohol for an adult. The reading was .161
The boy was transported to a Missouri Division of Youth Services facility.
In other matters, police:
-Arrested Lowell T. Gum, 25, of 303 Skyview Terrace, on July 7 after he failed to appear on a county warrant charging him with property damage. He was held without bond because he must appear in person before a judge.
-Warrants will be sought against a Raymondville woman and a Bucyrus man, both 20, who authorities were involved in passing a counterfeit money order totaling about $680 at Houston Wal-Mart on June 4.

-Charged Anthony J. Jones, 47, of 1800 Highway B, with operating a motor vehicle while operator’s license revoked on July 7.

-Arrested Stephanie D. Foster, 18, of Elk Creek, on July 8 with failing to appear on an improper turn charge. She posted $100 cash only bond.
-Arrested William A. Wilson, 22, of Success, on an active warrant for failing to appear on a stealing count and a Newton County warrant charging him with trespassing. Total bond was $9,000. He remains in jail.
-Investigated a July 2 accident that police said occurred when a vehicle driven by Joyce L. Rhodenizer, 51, was struck in the rear by a car operated by Cordelia K. Cockrum, 63, of 6521 Millstone Road.
-Cited Forrest N. Maxey, 66, of 805 W. Chestnut, with disturbance of private peace and failed to obey a police officer on July 9 at his mother’s apartment at Hamrick Terrace.
-Are investigating an accident where the driver left the scene on July 13. Two others also will face charges of minor in possession of alcohol. The matter remains under investigation, and several charges will likely be filed against the driver.
-Investigated a case of Internet fraud following a report from Dawn E. Ward, 48, of 1223 E. Crest Drive. Fraudulent charges were reported. The purchases totaled $172.
