Three persons are charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident that police said occurred July 13 at Cleveland Road and U.S. 63.
Andrew M. White, 18, of 634 Cleveland Road, is charged with operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident, minor in possession of intoxicating liquor and failure to register a motor vehicle.
Two passengers, Aaron D. Hebbblethwaite, 19, 16448 Forest Drive, and Deven W. Stoops, 19, of 17303 Highway B, were charged with minor in possession of intoxicating liquor.
Police said they have forwarded a report to the county prosecutor’s office for additional charges against White.
Brandon R.J. Graham, 21, of Allan Park, Mich., is charged with supplying liquor to minors in connection with the investigation.
Man Arrested: Houston police made their first arrest at the Texas County Justice Ccnter on July 18.
Tyler W. Jewell, 19, of West Plains, was arrested on three warrants from his hometown charging him with stealing, two Mountain View warrants charging him with making a false police report and driving while suspended and an Ava warrant for not appearing in municipal court. The bonds totaled $1,636. He was unable to post bond, police said.
Highway Accident: A Houston man pulled onto South Sam Houston Blvd. on Friday and struck a motorcyclist.
Bobby D. Barnhart, 62, 1250 Mesa Drive, was the driver of a Jeep that caused the motorcycle operated by Randy D. Moulder, 52, of Macks Creek, to strike it.
Barnhart was cited with failing to yield the right-of-way.

-Cited Jonnie R. Clinton, 26, of 501 Broadway, with operating an unlicensed motor vehicle (ATV) on a city street for purpose of transportation on July 19.
-Investigated property damage at the pilot’s lounge at the Houston Memorial Airport on July 18. A window was broken perhaps the previous day.
-Cited Brandon J. Adams, 26, of Bucyrus, with failing to register a motor vehicle on July 17.
-Charged Jonathan L. Randall, 41, of 215 King, with disobeying an electric signal on July 16.
-Cited Mark Lord, 45, of 1030 Waverly, with allowing his dog to run at-large on July 17.
-Charged Sarah E. Nash, 29, of Cabool, with DWI and failure to drive on right half of roadway on July 18.
-Arrested Dustin E. Cross, 26, of 713 Chestnut, on a failure to appear in municipal court warrant on July 14. He posted $300 bond.
-Cited Misty A. Colgan, 19, of 407 Oak St., with stealing under $500 by shoplifting at Houston Wal-Mart Supercenter on July 15. A 13-year-old Bucyrus girl was referred to juvenile authorities. Total value of the items was about $50.
-Charged Terry L. McConnaughhay, 45, 304 Ozark St., with allowing animal to run at-large on July 17.
