Alma Jewell Ratliff, 76, daughter of Charlie and Carrie Firestine Thompson, was born Dec. 8, 1931, at Waynesville. She died Aug. 7, 2008, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed “Bozo” Ratliff; and a grandson.
Surviving are five children, Pauletta Hooker and Ronda Ramsey of Licking, Frankie Federle of Elsah, Ill., Carolyn Sturgeon of Lake Ozark and Edward Ratliff Jr. of St. Louis; two siblings, Harold Thompson of Licking and Reba Kamler of Fenton; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were Aug. 11 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Courtney officiating. Burial was in the Palace Cemetery.
