Texas County and the City of Houston sold several tracts of property on the steps of the county courthouse Monday because the owners failed to pay their taxes.
In a notice earlier published in the Herald, both entities were selling property.
Notices were earlier sent to those who hadn’t paid property taxes for the last three years.
Upon the sale of the property, the previous owner has one year to redeem the property or it is transferred to those purchasing it.
