Andrew Geise, left, is escorted by Sheriff Carl Watson and Texas County deputies Thursday after entering a guilty plea of aggravated assult from a March 19, 2006, incident north of Willow Springs that left one person dead.

A Texas County teenager pled guilty Thursday afternoon for his role in a violent 2006 altercation that left one person dead.

Under plea agreements, Andrew Geise will testify against his father and younger brother, who allegedly fired the shot that killed Travis Walker on March 19, 2006. Geise pled guilty to one count of aggravated assault, a Class C felony. Sentencing is set for Oct. 14.

According to authorities, Nathaniel “Tommy” Geise shot Walker, 19, in the chest with a shotgun at close range. Andrew Geise is charged with severely beating Robert Brummitt with an aluminum bat while his father, Kurt, pointed a gun at Brummitt.

The altercation occurred in the driveway of the Geise’s home in extreme southeastern Texas County.

Officers said Brummitt, Walker and three others drove to the Geise residence north of Willow Springs looking for the driver of a vehicle that attempted to run their car off the road earlier that evening. Kurt Geise reportedly pulled Brummitt, the driver, from the car and held him at gunpoint while Andrew Geise beat him. Walker was also beaten by Andrew Geise before Tommy Geise fired the fatal shot, authorities said. Walker reportedly sat with his arms in the air.
