The Raymondville school district met all AYP standards for the 2007-’08 school year, the school board heard at Monday’s regular session.
The board also learned of the process being implemented for continued improvement in student achievement. A teacher in-service will be held Sept. 26 to focus on analyzing MAP data and setting performance goals for the 2008-’09 school year.
Superintendent Nathan Holder informed the board that the school had received official notification from the state that the district was fully accredited after undergoing the fourth cycle of the Missouri School Improvement Program.
In other news, members:
– Learned two school buses were declared surplus property by the board and will be sold by public auction.
– Heard a curriculum program evaluation from Holder, and it was approved.
– Reviewed information regarding the annual Missouri United School Insurance Council questionnaire. It was approved.
– Heard current enrollment is 110 students.
– Were given a finance and maintenance update from Holder.
