Ronald L. Kell, 56, son of Andrew and Laura Chapman Kell, was born April 4, 1952, at Raymondville. He died Sept. 14, 2008, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
He grew up in the Raymondville area and graduated from Houston High School in 1970.
He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, majoring in pre-med. He also had two years at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He was a dental technician and began working for Edmonds Dental Prosthetics in 2005.
He married Debbie Sears April 11, 1992, at Indian Rock Beach, Fla.
Mr. Kell enjoyed videography, genealogy and archeology. He had a special interest in photography and took wedding pictures. He made videos for churches, recording their VBS, picnics and other special events. He spent time outdoors and enjoyed being on the water, canoeing, swimming and kayaking.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Surviving are his wife of the home; two sons, John Kell of Webb City and Justin Meyer of Nixa; one daughter, Brandi Kell of the home; his father of Raymondville; and one brother, Mikel Kell of Broken Arrow, Okla.
Services were Sept. 17 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Villapiano officiating. Burial was in the Ashley Creek Cemetery.
