Bruce Shwedick shows off a South American snake to Houston Middle School students during an assembly Friday. Shwedick, who is from Plant City, Fla., has been sharing the fascination and knowledge of reptiles at schools and colleges across the nation.
Shwedick’s presentation includes a 20-pound yellow-footed tortoise, alligator snapping turtle, Chinese alligator and 15-foot albino rock python named “Banana Boy.”
