Virginia Ruth Buckner, 61, daughter of Lawrence Earn and Theodocia Jane Kirk Edwards, was born Dec. 11, 1946, at Salem. She died Sept. 17, 2008, at her home at Rolla.
She married Lloyd Buckner Feb. 13, 1965. They had two children.
She worked for U.S. Bank in Rolla, receiving her 30-year pin this summer.
Mrs. Buckner was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Lloyd and Lawrence Edwards.
Surviving are her husband of the home; son, Mark Buckner of St. Charles; daughter, Crystal Buckner of Lincoln, Neb.; and one brother, Kenneth Edwards of Licking.
Services were Sept. 20 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Bill Crow officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery.
