Houston police handled several investigations during the last week.
Officers:
-Cited Ericka J. Litchfield, 29, of Lebanon, with failing to register motor vehicle annually with the director of revenue – no plates -and failed to exhibit insurance identification card on Sept. 5.
-Charged Stephen R. O’Daniel, 18, of Raymondville, on Sept. 6 with operating a motor vehicle while operator’s license was suspended and failure to exhibit an insurance identification card.
-Charged James P. Gragg, 20, of 777 W. Highway 17, Apt. 4; Rebella L. Gragg, 18, of Rolla; and Jealene L. Burgess, 17, of Salem, with stealing under $500 from Houston Wal-Mart Supercenter on Aug. 27. Police said the trio took food from a deli. They said they had not eaten in two days. The loss was estimated at $14.
-Investigated a Sept. 4 accident that occurred when a vehicle driven by Martin A. Fisher, 47, 107 N. Hamrick Ave., was attempting to pull into a parking slot and struck a city vehicle at city hall.
-Were called Sept. 2 to 319 N. Grand, Apt. A where a purse was reportedly taken off a front porch. The victim, Shawn K. Sotto, 28, said it contained nearly $300 in cash and other items.
-Charged Eddie F. Day, 8164 Morton Road, Lot #7, with operating a motor vehicle with no valid operator’s license, on Sept. 1.
-Cited Joshua D. Stallcup, 19, of Bucyrus, with failure to stop at a sign on Sept. 5.
-Charged Scott R. Miller, 22, of Licking, with disobeying an electrical signal on Sept. 5.
