Weston Walker rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns as the Houston eighth grade football team completed its season Monday night with a 44-6 romp of Liberty.

Walker, who also caught a touchdown pass and had one of the Tigers’ four interceptions, scored on touchdown runs of 14, 6 and 46 yards.

Austin Bathon had a pair of rushing touchdowns, and Drake Bell converted a pair of two-point conversions.

Taylor Walser had two interceptions that led to Houston touchdowns. Tanner Scheets also intercepted a pass.

On Thursday, Walker had a 63-yard rushing touchdown and Bell added a 12-yard score as the lone points in the Tigers’ 22-14 loss at Mountain Grove.

Bell completed five of his 10 pass attempts for 126 yard – a majority going to Walker, who had four catches for 123 yards. Scheets had Houston’s other reception.

The Tigers finished with a 4-2 record.
