A Houston teenager was injured Monday night in a crash on Mineral Drive north of her hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Stephanie E. Lewis, 17, fell asleep, crossed the centerline and ran off the roadway, striking a mailbox, a ditch embankment and a group of small trees.
Lewis, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
