Mary Bernice Elledge, 58, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008.
She was born Dec. 29, 1949, in Houston, daughter of Howard Jones and Vida Jones Copeland. She and Sherman Edward Elledge were married Oct. 9, 1965.
She graduated from Raymondville Elementary School and attended Houston High School. She worked most of her life at Rawlings Manufacturing and spent the last few years working at Licking Park Manor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Vernon Jones; an infant brother, Bobby; an infant sister, Brenda; and her grandparents
Survivors include two sons, Michael Edward Sherman and Matthew Sherman; a sister, Janette Copeland; a brother, Jimmy Jones; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Services were Monday, Oct. 20, in Fox Funeral Hope Chapel with Pastor Rich Haaland officiating. Burial was in McMahan Cemetery.
