Winners were announced Saturday morning following the second annual Fun Run to benefit the Houston Community Foundation.

Chris Puckett of St. Louis took top honors in the run, which began in Emmett Kelly Park.

Earlier: The second annual Fun Run to benefit the Houston Community Foundation is Saturday, Oct. 18, at Emmett Kelly Park.

Participants can run or walk in age-appropriate categories and receive a T-shirt. Medals will be given in first, second and third places in the youngest category and medals go to those who finish first in the additional categories. The master female and male runner will each receive a trophy.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. The race begins at 9 a.m.

Pre-registration is required by Friday. The numbers to call are 417-260-1448 or 417-260-0775.

The cost is $10 for youth ages 12 and under and $20 for teens and adults.

The foundation is a non-profit organization that distributes the earnings to local non-profits and other organizations in the community.
