Russell Lynn Miller, 92, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at the Ash Grove Health Care Center.

He was born Dec. 25, 1915, in Arvada, Colo., son of Albert and Alta Mae Pfau Miller. He and Vera Faye Bennett were married Sept. 29, 1940.

He was a longtime resident of Houston before moving to Ash Grove in 1996. He was a retired farmer and employee of the Missouri State Highway Department in Carpentry Special Crew. He was a member of the Ash Grove Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; three brothers, Dick, Jim and Loren; and four sisters, Billie, Marjorie, Pat and Joann.

Survivors include four sons, Gary L. Miller of Neosho, Lonnie Miller of Savannah, Texas, Tim Miller of Rolla and Don Miller of Ash Grove; a daughter, Brenda Schweighauser of Summersville; a brother, Jack Miller of Arvada, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services were Thursday, Oct. 16, at Wilson Brim Daniel Chapel in Ash Grove with the Rev. Don Miller and the Rev. Arvel Schweighauser officiating. Graveside services were in New Hope Cemetery in Solo.
