Houston’s new road extension opened shortly after 8:30 this morning following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Thomasville Road extension runs south toward Holder Drive and beyond to a new road created north of Orscheln Farm and Home. Curbing in that parking lot was painted yellow.
A MoDOT contractor completed paving this week on East Highway 17.
