Aline Texana Rabun, 93, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, in Willow Springs.

She was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Zavalla, Texas, the daughter of Samuel Pilot Williams and Margarete Hopson. She and Roy Rabun were married Aug. 20, 1945.

She was member of Sulfur Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting and church

activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; three brothers, Ozie Williams, Easel Williams and Hudson Williams; and three sisters, Margaret Williams, Bernice Burden and Lullar Smith.

Survivors include a son, Don of Summersville; a grandson, seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ora Crain of Huntington, Texas; and a host of other family members.

Graveside services were Thursday, Nov. 13, at Zavalla Cemetery in Zavalla, Texas, under the direction of Gipson Funeral Home. Local arrangements were under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home of Summersville.
