Texas County deer hunters can win prizes in a contest sponsored by Re/Max Farm and Homes Realty in Houston. Texas County, which finished first in the kill last year, is one of the premier deer habitats in the state.
In the contest, persons can have their picture taken at Re/Max on South Sam Houston Blvd. or at the Herald office. Photos can be taken 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the Herald or 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9 a.m. – noon Saturday at Re/Max.
All buck and doe entries, no matter the size, will be accepted. Fill out the entry form and drop it by Re/Max for a change to win prizes in a random drawing.
Photos taken also will be placed in the newspaper and online at www.houstonherald.com. Online viewers can vote for their reader’s choice. Voting begins Nov. 26 and ends at midnight Sunday, Nov. 30.
Each contest has great prizes, which have been donated by many Houston merchants.
