Kenzie Scheets scored 14 points as the Houston eighth grade girls’ basketball team lost 33-26 Thursday night at Mountain Grove. It was the first loss for the Lady Tigers, who fell to 2-1.

The seventh grade also lost for the first time, falling 33-18 to Mountain Grove.

Amber Sillyman scored three points and four players had two points each for Houston, which trailed 14-12 at the half.

Taylor Franklin had seven points and Alissa Bowlin added five for the seventh grade Lady Tigers (2-1). Houston trailed 9-2 after the opening quarter.
