A Plato man sustained moderate injuries early Saturday in an accident about 10 miles south of Waynesville on Highway 17, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Beau W. McMahon, 22, was traveling southbound when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, began sliding, returned to the highway and slid off the left side before hitting an embankment, said Sgt. D.C. Shur.
McMahon was taken by Pulaski County ambulance to St. John’s Hospital at Lebanon. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the 3 a.m. wreck, Shur said.
