Shirley Ann Lewis, 66, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008.

She was born Sept. 17, 1942, in Rolla, daughter of Joseph and Lavada Stagner. She and Franklin E. Lewis were married May 5, 1960.

She enjoyed many hobbies, including sewing, quilting, traveling, dancing, yard sales and auctions, rock collecting, working in her flower garden and watching birds in her front yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; and two infant great-grandsons.

Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Alice Huey of Manhattan, Kan., and Ellen Mares, Sandy Jennings, Donna Ingle and Christina Boothe of Licking; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Danny Stagner of Yukon; a sister, Katherine Kelso of Houston; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were Friday, Nov. 21, at the Licking First Baptist Church with Dr. Wilbur Mobley and Bro. Denny Marr officiating. Burial was in Licking Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
