Terry Lynn Parker, 60, of Theodosia, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008 at his home.

He was born May 11, 1948, in Fredericksburg, Texas, son of Kenneth C. and Helen June Bode Parker. He and Sharon Watson were married May 1, 1987, in Las Vegas.

He attended and graduated from Cabool High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a truck driver and rancher in the Elk Creek area for a number of years. He enjoyed being with his family, boating and fishing at the lake and hunting. He attended Dugginville Community Church.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Tami Lyons of Springfield; a son, Kenneth Randall Parker of Mountain Grove; four stepchildren, Chuck Watson of Macomb, Mike Watson of Paris, Mo., John Watson of Lee’s Summit and Memory Chandler of Lynn Center, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many other relatives and a special friend, Ryan Merriman.

Services were Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home with Tom Cantrell officiating. Burial with full military honors was in Steely Chapel Cemetery at Elk Creek.
