Two holiday activities are planned Saturday in downtown Houston.
The annual Christmas parade, which is organized by the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce, begins at 2 p.m. in downtown Houston. The theme is “Let Your Light Shine.” Floats will be judged at 12:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in the religious and non-religious categories.
The Animal Shelter of Texas County will sponsor its annual dog show beginning at 11 a.m. at Lone Star Plaza at Grand Avenue and Pine Street.
