NEW: Houston patrons give input on building needs

Patrons of the Houston School District gave their opinions Thursday on a proposed 40,000-45,000 square foot high school and new library for the campus.

The forum, conducted by Sapp Design Associates of Springfield, is the first of several to gain input from patrons. Earlier, teachers and staff met with the firm for two days.

Those attending the meeting had the opportunity to give their opinions of several diagrams that showed various options for the building.
