Two persons received injuries early Friday morning in a crash three miles north of Houston on Highway E, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
A 2000 Pontiac driven by Michael L. Morgan, 28, of Elk Creek, failed to negotiate a curve, running off the roadway and striking a ditch, said Tpr. Marty Wiseman.
Morgan was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. A passenger, Kevin W. Morgan, 34, was transported by private vehicle with minor injuries.
Michael Morgan was cited with DWI and careless and imprudent driving following the 2:25 a.m. accident, Wiseman said.
