Myrtle Lea McClure, 96, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Licking Park Manor.

She was born Sept. 7, 1912, in Blooming Rose, daughter of Henry A. and Nancy Isabelle Cassidy. She and Harry L. McClure were married Feb. 16, 1929, at Big Piney.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two sons, Donald and Ronald McClure; a daughter, Norma McClure; two brothers, Everett and George Cassidy; an infant sister; and a great-granddaughter.

Survivors include a daughter, Marie Barnes of Licking; a son, Henry McClure of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

Services were Friday, Nov. 28, in the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Maggie Cramer officiating. Burial was in Licking Cemetery.
