Registration for the spring 2009 semester is under way at Drury University in Cabool and Licking.

Drury encourages recent high school graduates or returning non-traditional students to visit it and see how the college can meet their educational and professional goals. U.S. Census Bureau studies show that people who have a four-year college degree earn approximately twice as much than those with only a high school diploma. Drury’s evening college programs offer flexibility and convenience – classes meet once per week Monday through Thursday.

Drury University offers degrees in a wide variety of majors, including business, criminal justice, education, English, fine arts, psychology and sociology. Many students qualify for a Pell Grant to pay for their tuition costs. Additionally, Drury offers new students an opportunity to apply for its Continuing Studies Scholarship. Advisers are on hand to help demystify the financial aid process and get you started with your college career.

Local area high school juniors and seniors are also invited to enroll in select dual enrollment classes. It is an opportunity to earn college credit at a reduced tuition rate. Most credits are fully transferable, and dual enrollment students can take up to two classes per night.
