Ten different players scored for the Houston seventh grade boys’ basketball team as the Tigers defeated Willow Springs 47-22 Monday night.

Nathaniel Alkire led Houston with 15 points. Devin Coulter and Jason Wink scored seven points apiece.

The Tigers scored the game’s first 13 points and led 24-11 at the half. The advantage stretched to 21 points entering the fourth quarter.

On Tuesday, Coulter had nine points and Alkire added eight in a 37-22 loss to Ava.

Houston (1-2) led 9-5 after the first quarter before being out-scored 16-2 in the second.
