A Mountain Grove teen sustained injuries late Saturday in a crash about five miles north of Cabool on Highway M, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Dakota R. Mead, 16, was traveling northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of the vehicle and ran off the right side of the road, striking an embankment and overturned. Mead was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, said Tpr. Logan Elliott.
Mead was cited with wearing no seat belt, Elliott said. The 2001 Hyundai was totaled.
