Jackie Smith of the Texas County Health Department is the speaker Jan. 9 at the Houston Lions Club meeting.
She will talk about the department’s programs and will be accompanied by an assistant who will explain a new survey that is being developed for a community poll.
The Houston Lions Club has a regularly schedule meeting every Friday at noon at the Lions Dens on N. U.S. 63.
Rick Vermillion of KUNQ will speak Jan. 16.
