Joseph “Joe” W. Sutton, 71, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008.
He was born Oct. 30, 1937, son of Lawrence and Sally Sutton. He and Paulette Karnes were married Aug. 6, 1966.
He served eight years in the Army and was an employee with Schwitzer for more than 22 years. He began working the punch presses and advanced to an inspector.
He loved to fish, camp and cut fire wood.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Robby, Andy, Michael and Kayla; three grandchildren; a brother, Wayne Sutton; numerous nieces and nephews; and many adopted grandchildren and family members.
Services were Saturday, Jan. 3, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Robbins and Bro. Ernie Coverdell officiating. Burial was in Hutchason Cemetery.
