Justin Buchholz scored 21 points Monday night to lead the JV Tigers past Naylor 63-35 in the opening round of the Liberty Tournament.

Houston, which led 17-4 after one quarter, faces top-seeded Liberty at 5:15 p.m. today (Thursday).

On Friday, Curry Van Horn scored 12 points in a 60-29 loss at Salem.

Tyler DeWitt scored eight points for the Tigers, who trailed 16-4 after the first quarter.
