Mountain Grove swept the Houston Middle School girls’ basketball teams Thursday night with a 25-20 victory in the eighth grade game and 40-28 win by the seventh grade.
Kenzie Scheets and Demi Pittman scored seven points each for the eighth grade Lady Tigers, who managed just five first-half points. Alexa Ichord had four and Amber Sillyman scored two.
Allisa Bowlin and Tyanna Bisker had seven points each for the seventh grade, which was outscored in each quarter. Sierra Weaver scored six points.
